Back From Berlin

Yeah! Back from Berlin. I had a wonderful time laughing and taking in the sights with my friend Greta and her family. I walked and biked all over Berlin and went to museums, galleries, cafes,gardens and the Berlin philharmonic. It was very rejuvenating and I am ready to get back in the studio!

Hello! I forgot to mention that I was going to Berlin, Germany to visit my dear friend Greta from April 15-25. I am here now, just went running along the Spree River in the center of Berlin. It is spring here, green and beautiful. I am looking forward to visiting many of the galleries and museums. I will report back soon! ~ Melissa

"Happy Hour" Original Acrylic Painting and "Copper River Salmon 1"

It's happy hour! I am painting again, and glad to be doing so. "Copper River Salmon 1" has both paint and tiffany green patina on hand hammered copper. There is a hook on the back so that he can hang on a wall, and a UV varnish to protect the finish. It is approximately 9"x 14" and is $195. My happy crow is acrylic on a 10"x20" gallery wrapped canvas. The border is wrapped over both sides and there is no need for a frame. $385. Please contact me if you are interested in either piece.

Even though it is a little warmer in Spokane, there is not yet much blooming. Still our little pussy willow tree has soft yellow whisps upon it... and they whisper of spring.

Tinman Gallery Opening

Well... I had a very nice weekend visit with my mom. We had a lot of fun, but I didn't get much art work done! "Cheerio Bear" original 5x6 acrylic painting and "Tiffany green copper crow"

Finally getting back to the studio...I painted this lazy little bear "Cheerio Bear", 5x6 on gallery wrapped canvas, $95. and had fun with a new copper crow. I was happy with how the patina worked on this hanging copper sculpture, approximately 5"x 8" for $65. SOLD Tomorrow my mom comes to visit for the weekend-hooray!
