"Peony" Original 6x9 Acrylic Painting

Sunday morning and I'm off to my artist marketing workshop again. I learned quite a bit yesterday, and we spent a very nice evening at Louise Kodis's amazingly beautiful "Gypsy Garden" 1901 home getting to know some other artists in the area.

This is a second flower study from my walk the other morning. "Peony" is on a 6x9 gallery wrapped canvas with the texture extending over the sides.

"Flax" Original 8x8 Acrylic Painting

Good morning. I am moving early today as I have an artist's workshop this weekend at the museum. I'm not learning any fun new techniques... rather going over artist opportunities in WA, grants, website info. etc

Here is one result of my walk yesterday when I sketched a few types of flowers. These are flax flowers. They looked so simple when I ran past them. But, like anything, when you really stop and look at them they are surprisingly complex.

"Key To Your Heart" Original 6x9 Acrylic Painting

Another day another raven! I am actually going to work on some flowers today for a change. I went for a walk by the river and did some sketches of flax flowers, wild lupines and peonies... so, we shall see what comes of it.

This raven is on a 6x9 gallery wrapped canvas with the texture extending over the sides.

Therefore this piece is titled "Berry Bird", a 6x9 original acrylic on canvas. The border is wrapped around the edges, so no frame is necessary... enjoy those berries!

"As Close As This" Original 9x12 Acrylic Painting

Good Morning! Brandon and I ran along the river this morning, past fields of blue flax flowers, burgundy iris, purple lupines and the last of the yellow balsam root flowers. It is so gorgeous this year! I completed this sweet little painting last night.

"As Close As This" is the title and it is a 9x12 gallery wrapped canvas with the textured leaf pattern extending over both sides.

"Happy Fish" Hanging Copper Sculpture

This morning I got up and went rollerblading along the river. The water is high and there are lots of waves and swirls rushing by and so many wildflowers are in bloom. I feel so lucky to be able to do this before I "go to work". Here is the last of my recent copper creations "Happy Fish" . Now I must get back to work in the studio to create some new pieces! ~Adios
