Lewiston Gateway Project in Progress 11.15.12
I'm currently mired in black epoxy grout....there are 155 pieces in the bridge project- an unreal amount of grout! Things are looking pretty though. I am working my way through hills, rocks, waves and salmon. Next I will move on to the 100 foot long snake. I am hoping to finish around December 3rd and installation should be sometime in December.

Lewiston Gateway Project in Progress 11.5.12
Moving along on the mosaic portion of this project. My rocks look a bit like easter eggs! I'm working on the salmon now. There are three and each is approximately 9-12 feet long and 4 feet wide. They're made up of 3-5 pieces each. I fused the glass eyes in a kiln. I am soooo excited to be working on them!

Lewiston Community Mosaic Workshop
Saturday I gave a free community mosaic workshop in Lewiston. Anyone was allowed to participate and their mosaic designs of rocks, waves and bubbles will be incorporated into the permanent public art project I am currently working on for the pedestrian bridge and the 5th and F Street sculpture. We had around 75 participants of all ages and it was loads of fun!
