Had a great first day painting (priming and background) the first of three murals in downtown Spokane. This one is titled "The wacky world of Harold Balaz" to commemorate local artist Harold Balaz and his upcoming show at the Museum of Arts and Culture as well as his book. He is a fabulous artist in his 80s with many public works of art around Spokane. My mural group (ages 16-22) is really great to work with, very creative, enthusiastic and hardworking!
