Another misty morning... I enjoyed the shapes of the trees as I walked beside the Spokane river with their dark bark and golden leaves-then a bald eagle flew past...ahhh! Here is a new painting that I completed last night, titled "Fall's Call" It is a 22x28 acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas for $1,175. Please contact me if you are interested in it as it flies to Seattle today for a benefit auction (The Snohomish Education Foundation Auction) in November.

"Kelp Queen" Original 36x36 Acrylic Painting

My studio is pretty much cleaned up-yeah! So am back in business.

Here is the lovely "Kelp Queen" a cold water mermaid, with a number of rockfish species swimming about her among the kelp fronds. This is an acrylic on wood and gallery wrapped canvas panels with airdry clay and fused glass accents. It is made up of 9 individual 12"x12" panels and hangs in three pieces as a triptych. It has a lot of gold, copper, bronze and irridescent colors and would look spectacular in a stairway or as a centerpiece in a living area.

Melissa at the Tacoma Art Museum Gala

Yeah! Back from my Seattle/Tacoma trip and I'm so excited to settle back into a routine... clean up my house and studio and figure out what to create next. This is a picture of me at the Tacoma Art Museum's Benefit Gala. The theme was Bollywood, so the outfits people wore were amazing! Sold some originals, so that was nice.
