"Nap Time" Original 16x20 Acrylic Painting

Sorry, I haven't posted for a few days...have been busy running around doing other artist related things, such as trying to find a group of young adults to help me work on three down town murals in Spokane this summer. I am currently working on pieces for the C Art Gallery in Seattle and the Seattle Aquarium. This new painting is titled "Nap Time". It is a 16x20 acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas for $625.

It comes from my fond memories of watching the fuzzy otters in front of the aquarium in Monterey, CA with my husband Brandon. The babies would cause a big fuss when their moms would leave them in search of food. They would also curl up on top of their mother's bellies to take nice long naps in the sun.
