A relaxing Saturday... did a 2 hour yoga workshop this morning and then came home to paint "Jungle Jewel". This is a very pretty piece made up of gallery wrapped canvases of various depths, wood molding and fused glass tile all attached to a wooden backing so that it hangs as one piece 17.5" x 24.5" for $875. It has been rather gray, so it was nice to do a tropical piece.

Good Evening...chilly with a bit of snow for us here. I finally finished my interior mosaic class, which I took from Jan Wilhelmi in Coeur d' Alene at the Creative Element. She is a great teacher and I learned a lot.
Here is my first project..."Bathtub Turtles". Appropriately it will go on the wall above my tub to keep my Mexican and Haitian sculptures company.

Hello all... today you will find my preliminary sketch for an upcoming commissioned painting titled "June and the Moon". I am very excited to do this painting as it will have passion flowers, pomegranates, great colors and new creatures to work on. I really enjoy commissions because they stretch my creativity and get me out of my "ruts" I'll post the finished painting when it has been completed.
