"Breakfast Bird" Original 8x8 Acrylic Painting


Hello... back from a very nice Fall Festival in Corvallis, Oregon. I went for a hike around Clear Lake near Bend with my mom and the vine maples were crimson and gorgeous! Here is one of my latest little paintings titled "Breakfast Bird", 8x8 original acrylic on canvas for $125.

"Sleepy Heron" Original 6x9 Acrylic Painting


My new thing is to go to bed by 11:00... ha ha! I had to stay up to finish this heron... appropriately titled "Sleepy Heron"

"Catfish Stew" Original 18x32 Acrylic Painting




"Catfish Stew" is on the menu tonight! I just finished this dimensional commission tonight. It is for Alex who lives in NY, but studies armoured catfish all over the world. It was a challenge and great fun to get all of the patterns, textures, shapes and colors, along with the proper fish size, what substrate they feed on (wood, sand or rocks)... all in one painting! I now have quite an appreciation for how strange and beautiful these fish are. Let me know how many fish you see...

"Last of the Blackberries" Original 24x30 Acrylic Painting


Well, this is what I have been working on for the past few days... "Last of the Blackberries" to signal the beginning of fall. When I went to Oregon recently, I visited my mom in Corvallis. We took a nice walk along the Willamette River and there were roses blooming and sweet blackberries under the maple trees overlooking the river... beautiful!

"Kitchen Crab Cakes" Original 16x16 Acrylic Painting


After running around to the Vancouver Wine and Jazz Festival and Missoula River City Roots Festival the last few weekends, it sure is nice to be back in the studio. I just completed "Kitchen Crab Cakes" a 16x16 original acrylic on canvas. This commission will shortly be flying off to Anchorage, AK.
