Oh happy day... Artfest is over and it was an excellent show! Lots of sun, nice people and good sales. Here is a copper dolphin I made right before the show. He is coated in outdoor acrylic and can hang either outside or in.

"Teacher's Pet" Original 5x7 Acrylic Painting


Today I have to pack up all of my artwork and haul it to Coeur d' Alene park for Artfest. The weather is beautiful, and I am looking forward to it! Here is the last little painting I did titled "Teacher's Pet". It is textured acrylic on a 5x7 gallery wrapped canvas with the sides embellished (no frame is needed). "Crow Smitten" Copper Sculpture


Well, it is now past midnight, so I guess I may as well enter tomorrow's image! I had a lot of fun with this sleepy crow in love! He has a flower dangling from his beak and a locket of his true love hanging from his claw. It is acrylic and blue patina on hand hammered copper. It is 19x9 inches and can hang either inside or out, $15o.

"Copper Brookie" 3D Copper Sculpture




Only a couple days left until Artfest. I worked on my copper creations all day, and finished what I had hoped to-hooray! I will upload the rest of them on other days.

"Blue Raven with Heart" Copper Sculpture


Hi all,

I spent the day extricating mounds of matted mint roots from one of my garden boxes, in order to plant my garden...now it is lovely with new tomato and basil plants and chard and bean seeds planted and waiting to sprout! I also worked on some of my new copper pieces. Here is one titled "Blue Raven with Heart", it is 9x16 on hand hammered copper with patina and acrylic. He comes ready to hang either inside or out for $125.

"Fish Fight" Original 8x8 Acrylic Painting


Another sunny day hooray! Brandon and I enjoyed a warm spring evening picnic in Manito Park yesterday. We got to see a great blue heron gulp down a big fat fish after many clumsy attempts. Not that that has to do with much of anything... but I named my little piece today "Fish Fight". These fish have teeth and are not to be messed with!

Hello, a lovely bright and beautiful spring day! I went running along the Spokane river and the sunflower-like balsam root, wild purple lupines and fragrant lilacs were in bloom...ahh!
